Film/Video

We shoot everything from Hi-8 and DV to Uncompressed HD and Film. We are familiar with all standard formats, including 16mm, 35mm, DVCProHD & Blue-Ray, and we plan to start working with the highly anticipated Red Camera as soon as it becomes available.

Audio

Audio is captured via Sennheiser wireless mics or Sennheiser ME-80 shotgun and fed via 1/4 inch or grounded XLR directly into the camera at 96 khz, or portable DAT at 48 khz DAT. On-set mixing can also be done via portable mixing board.

Lighting/Grip

Our lighting packages are all pro, including Mole Richardson 650's and 1K's, along with a wide selection of mounts and diffussion.

Post-Production

Studio editing is done on dual 2.5 gig Power Mac G5, using Firewire 800 for a losless signal transfer. Editing software includes Apple's Hollywood quality Final Cut Pro HD, including high resolution graphics and effects created in Motion & Live Type.

Scoring

Music scoring is done with a combination of Soundtrack Pro and Logic Pro tied to a Roland XV-5080 synth module and a Fatar Studio 610 midi controller.

Media Delivery

Final presentations can be delivered in DVD, VHS, DV, Hi8, Quicktime, or Uncompressed Raw Data formats. In addition, we can generate movie files in all standard codecs.

Media Duplication

AVP also provides duplication services and transfers, including 8mm and 16mm film to any of the delivery options listed above.
